PRP treatment:
platelet-rich plasma injections

Platelet-rich plasma injections are designed to activate natural healing mechanisms. They enable the use of blood growth factors that promote regenerative skin cell growth.

The process stimulates the collagen synthesis while repairing damaged tissue.

As such, PRP treatment plays both a preventive and curative role.

This technology is frequently used for orthopedic purposes, following musculoskeletal injuries and, more recently, in the treatment of hair loss (alopecia) available in our Laval clinic.

PRP treatment purpose and goals

PRP treatment significantly reduces age-related effects in sensitive areas such as face, hand or cleavage skin.
Notable benefits include:

PRP treatment technique

Treatment is in the form of epidermal and intradermal micro-injections targeting the different areas to be treated, such as the face, hands, cleavage or, in the treatment of alopecia, the scalp.

Number of
sessions required

The benefits of PRP injection treatment will last an average of 3 years. The results can be improved as part of an annual booster treatment or simply maintained at the rate of one session every 3 years.

Depending on the number of regions to be treated, the injector will need 60 to 90 minutes to complete the 3 steps of treatment: your blood will first be extracted and then centrifuged for a few minutes before being reinjected into the damaged tissues.

Personalized follow-up of each patient is carried out.
As a result, we can determine whether repeat treatment is necessary.
Generally, a single session is enough to considerably improve the quality of the treated skin surfaces.

All technologies offered in our Univers NuFace clinic in Laval are eligible to be combined with platelet-rich plasma injection.
