Blue light therapy acne treatment
The goal of blue light therapy is to reduce the bacterial growth responsible for acne (propionibacterium acnes) while relieving the chronic inflammation associated with it. Blue light is delicate, safe and non-invasive. It is suitable for all skin types.
Blue light therapy purpose and benefits
Blue light acne technology aims to reduce bacterial growth while working deep down to significantly decrease inflammation caused in part by sebum accumulation. It alters the genetic material of the bacteria, causing it to stop breeding and therefore eliminating the acne pimples. This change is a direct result of bacterial susceptibility to blue light.
As such, it acts both as a preventive and curative treatment, insofar as it reduces acne pimples, while preventing future bacterial outbreaks.
Blue light therapy technique
The blue light spectrum directly targets the bacteria responsible for acne without negatively affecting the epidermis. It inhibits their activity while reducing skin rashes.
